It is my goal, when I create at ART, to have fun and let the Holly Spirit guide me. I supply the energy and time, the Spirit guides me in the process to make a beautiful, lasting piece of art.

I walk the land in Madison County or around Beaver Lake  and take in the glorious nature there. I keep visuals in my mind of things I see and those images then inspire paintings, sculptures, or some other clay item. Nature also motivates me to create art that can be displayed outdoors.  Maybe it is a free standing sculpture created with pieces from nature impressed into the clay that ends up dressing up a flower bed. In the end, it is creating art inspired by nature that I have to do.

BIO

The inspiration that connects the diverse media and techniques I create comes from nature, especially inspired by nature while at my cabin in Madison County, Arkansas.
I am a past President of the Associated Artist’s of Phillbrook Art Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma and demonstrated my work there. A graduate of the Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, Arkansas, I also have studied under several national and internationally known artists in workshops. I taught art for four years at Saint Vincent de Paul School in Rogers and have taught private lessons for 11 years. In addition to completing numerous commissioned works, I was chosen to do a public installation of painted clay tile work at Creation Park in Rogers and a large installation at Benton County School of the Arts, Rogers, AR.

I am also a portrait artist painting both people and animals. I have won many awards in art shows and my work has appeared in private collections, in one woman shows, galleries and group shows.
